Software-copyright registration in China is a voluntary, public procedure regulated by the Computer Software Protection Regulations (《计算机软件保护条例》) and the Software Copyright Registration Procedure (《计算机软件著作权登记办法》). For each successful application, the China Copyright Protection Center issues a numbered 计算机软件著作权登记证书 that records the software's full registered name, the rights holder, the scope of rights, and the registration number.
GitHub's built-in PDF blob viewer cannot reliably render these particular certificates because the source PDFs embed a cs=ICCBased scan image plus a CIDFont Type 2 CJK subset (SimSun) that pdf.js cannot decode uniformly across browsers and accounts (manifesting as Error rendering embedded code, Error loading PDF page number 1, or Unable to render code block).
To bypass that, this repository ships a custom HTML viewer served via GitHub Pages (adetonhuang.github.io/LLM-VLM-Software-Copyrights/). The viewer uses Mozilla's pdf.js with Adobe's official Chinese CMap CMap files loaded from a CDN — which handles the SimSun subset correctly — and renders every certificate for every visitor consistently.
The PDFs themselves in this repository are byte-identical copies of the originals — no decompression, no re-rendering, no font stripping.
